Through cultural preservation, education, advocacy, and community connection, we work to ensure that Delaware identity and history continue to thrive for generations to come.

Delawares of Idaho, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage, culture, history, and future of Delaware Indian descendants and families.
Founded in Idaho in 1978, our organization works to strengthen community connections, honor ancestral traditions, support cultural education, and advocate for the welfare and recognition of Delaware descendants. Through gatherings, storytelling, educational outreach, genealogy and historical preservation efforts, and community support initiatives, we help keep Delaware identity and traditions alive for future generations.
We believe that cultural heritage is strengthened through community. Donations and volunteer support help us preserve historical knowledge, organize cultural events, support elders and families, educate younger generations, and expand awareness of Delaware history and contributions.
